Background of the Case:

Like many Brazilians, I've always had an interest in sports, especially football. I grew up watching and 🍊 playing the game, and it was only natural that I'd develop a liking for sports betting as well. "As apostas esportivas não podem ser consideradas jogos de azar, ao menos 🍊 aos olhos da legislação brasileira" (sports bets can't be considered gambling, at least in the eyes of the Brazilian legislation), 🍊 I read. Moreover, "A rigor, a Constituição não proíbe o jogo de azar, tanto que conseguimos estabelecer loterias ou títulos 🍊 de capitalização, o que não deixa de ser um jogo de azar" (in fact, the Constitution does not forbid gambling, 🍊 because we're able to establish state lottery or capitalization bonds, whatever is already a kind of gambling).
